Weekly Photo Challenge: Companionable

I have had many travelling companions accompany me on my adventures, but there was only one that I could pick for this challenge.

Malcolm the Monkey has been joining me on holidays and trips for over twenty years. My dad bought him for me at a service station in Belgium when I was twelve, and I named him after our coach driver. He’s hung off my backpack, camped in the desert and survived many a Greyhound journey. In this photo he’s taking in the view over the Grand Canyon.
